But he persisted and begged. She's busy, so she told him to ask his grandparents, who're teachers, and who'd be coming from Singapore shortly. And that was how Bob and Lan Teo began teaching Matthew math. And how he learned the times tables at 3, naturally. And how abacus3 was born!
